There's a new wave sweeping the battle scene. Imagine hearing Loaded Lux witty lyrics.....but in another language. Or picture hearing raw Hip Hop flows but at a more rapid pace. BTU (Batallas de Talento Urbano)

is an All Latin Battle League, shining light on the countless of Latin rappers from all over the globe. Starting out in New York, the league has expanded to Miami, Los Angeles, and Santo Domingo. With over 50 contestants

So far, the League, has released two battles. The first battle was LosLeones NyC's own Ambush vs. Trijillo and the latest battle to date...one of my personal fav battles Bombillo X vs. Pikante DMOB (also of Los Leones). Now it's okay if you don't speak Spanish, the energy and delivery of traditional Battle rap is STiLL there. Real New York HipHop flow written and spit with the same techniques that you are accustom to hearing on the battle scene. With inspirations (and competition) from other leagues like URL and KOD, Sosa Los Poderes, teamed up with XyayX Multimedia on the production side and boaste confidently that BTU will be a successful channel of exposure for upcoming battle rappers of the Latin World. Looks promising. The question everyone's asking now is: Will well-renowned battle rapper Cortez join the league?
